Day 1 – Meet your guide, learn the basics


You'll be introduced to your guide and horse. We'll spend about 10-15 minutes letting you get familiar with your horse and going over some basic riding instructions. Briefing on safety, riding posture & mountain commands.


During the ride, you can expect breathtaking mountain and ocean views, lots of photo opportunities, and maybe even encounter some of the native wildlife!


30 min break to rest and recharge. With our delicious Himalayan food and snacks. Heading back to the lodges. Evening bonfire & Dinner under the stars.


Day 2 – Riding Basics & First Trail


Morning training: grooming, saddling, and communication techniques.


Short 8–10 km trail ride to Langza Village (known for fossils & Buddha statue). Learn trotting and terrain control. Sunset meditation session in open meadows.


Day 3 – River Crossing & Nomadic Trails


Ride 20 km across high-altitude pastures to Hikkim & Komic (the world’s highest village). Learn mountain gait balance & long-distance riding posture. Visit ancient monasteries.


River crossing practice (under supervision). Learn advanced horse control: reining, communication & trust building.


Interact with local nomads, learn about mountain horse breeds. Stay at Tabo village eco-camp overnight in an alpine meadow.


Day 4 – Skill Evaluation


Independent supervised ride through the high passes. Practical test: handling, balance, confidence, and bonding with the horse.


Certificate ceremony & photography session with backdrop of the Himalayan Alps.


Return transfer to Manali or Shimla.
